For the all green experience...
The Parks Foundation, along with sponsor CPS Energy, is pleased to again host the premier event that takes the guessing out of green living, and will put an end to your eco-anxiety, LiveGreenFest 2012. This annual community event geared toward celebrating green living, is produced by the Parks Foundation.
LiveGreenFest, now in its seventh year, is the ideal opportunity to learn about everything green. From alternative power options, recycling techniques, and mass transit, to organic gardening, healthy food, and natural clothing, the event will show consumers how to re-new, re-think, and re-use.
CPS Energy is the nation's largest municipally owned energy utility providing both natural gas and el
ectric service. Acquired by the City of San Antonio in 1942, CPS serves 707,000 electric customers and 322,000 natural gas customers in and around the seventh-largest city in the nation.
LiveGreenFest 2012 will be held at Olmos Basin Park on Saturday, October 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is free. If your product, service, store, or organization is environmentally conscious or caters to people who are, you will want to be a part of LiveGreenFest 2012. Call 210-212-8423 to find out how you can participate.
