SHOWCASES TOP TALENT
The best in Tejano music, great food and a family friendly atmosphere will mark this year’s 27th Annual Hispanic State Fair on July 20 at Rosedale Park. Top headliners include: Javier Galvan y Fama, Jimmy Gonzalez y Grupo Mazz, Pochimex and many others who will entertain with live music throughout the day. “The Hispanic State Fair is a great event to attend with the whole family. There is something for everyone, and the admission free,” said Lila Cockrell, President of the San Antonio Parks Foundation who is producing the event.
The admission free event is includes non-stop live entertainment, a carnival for the children, and plenty of food booths offering Mexican favorites, turkey legs, hamburgers and agues frescas. Proceeds from the Fair will benefit the San Antonio Parks Foundation, whose mission is to provide enhancements to the City of San Antonio’s parks system which improve the quality of life for all its citizens.
“Were grateful for all the corporate supporters such as Budweiser, KENS-5 and the San Antonio Express-News that help us produce the Hispanic State Fair and all the other events produced by the Parks Foundation,” Cockrell added.
