The City of San Antonio’s Official Jazz Music Festival is ensuring Jazz Is Alive in San Antonio! The San Antonio Parks Foundation, in partnership with The City of San Antonio and Michelob Ultra, present the 39th Annual Jazz’SAlive Festival on September 23 and 24 in downtown San Antonio. In addition to stages in historic Travis Park, for the second consecutive year, festival organizers will program a stage at Legacy Park.

Jazz’SAlive General Admission is free, all ages, and open to the public! No outside food or beverage is allowed. Tickets are available for premium seating and VIP areas.


Jazz’SAlive offers a limited number of premium Patron Seats at the main stage for those who want to upgrade their viewing experience and leave the lawn chairs at home. Patron Seats are sold as single-day tickets. Fans who wish to have a Patron Seat on both Friday and Saturday will need to purchase a ticket for each day. Each ticket includes 1 priority seat the main stage in Travis Park with access to a cash bar and cocktail service.


While general admission to the festival is free, there is a ✨spectacular✨ VIP Experience available to guests 21+ featuring complimentary beverages from Moët Hennessy and Diageo, beer and wine selections + cocktails & bites curated by Ambler Texas Kitchen & Cocktails, for Friday AND Saturday evening. Along with the private table seating and delectable culinary experience under the stars, VIP guests will enjoy front and center VIP open seating at the main stage in Travis Park, and access to air-conditioned restrooms. Thursday, September 22nd, 5 PM – 9 PM kickoff Jazz’SAlive weekend at downtown’s newest urban respite space and pocket park located at the corner of Pecan and Soledad Street, Weston Common!

Austin-based Afro-Colombian Funk group, Superfónicos and beloved San Antonio latin jazz artist, Jose Amador & TERRA NOVA bring their lively performances and good-natured energy to the stage for an evening of dancing, cold drinks, and smiles.

5:30-7 PM: Jose Amador & TERRA NOVA

7:30-9 PM: Superfónicos

Guests can expect to see the 2022 Jazz’SAlive commemorative poster artwork displayed with the opportunity to purchase prints signed by the artist, Swerv O’ Harold. Prints will also be available for purchase at the festival. This event is free, all ages, and open to the public.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Outside food, drinks, and coolers are not permitted.

When the main stage lights come down at Jazz’SAlive in Travis Park, head up to the St. Anthony Hotel Sky Terrace for the Official Jazz’SAlive After Party presented by Southern Glazes Wine & Spirits, Diageo, and Moët Hennessy USA ✨
Enjoy live jazz with the Dirty River Jazz Band from 10:30 PM to 1:00 AM along with specialty cocktail offerings, photo booth, dancing and smiles!
From 10:30 PM to 11:30 PM contemporary artist and designer of the 2022 Jazz’SAlive commemorative poster, Swerv O’ Harold will be onsite for poster signings. Posters will be available for purchase at the event.
Guests 21+ are welcome to attend with RSVP. This is a limited-capacity event, RSVP is required and does not guarantee entry. Entry is first come, first serve until capacity is reached.




Jazz’SAlive continues on Sunday, September 25 at the Travis Park Church with a Jazz centered service (9:45AM) and concert (12:00PM), followed by an open jam session welcoming all jazz musicians from the community. Food trucks will be open in the Travis Park Church parking lot beginning at 11AM.
