The San Antonio Parks Foundation Presents
OUTSIDE FOR ALL
The 2nd Annual Outside for All event is set for Saturday, May 15th from 9am – 2pm at the Japanese Tea Garden in Brackenridge Park!
Outside for All is a celebration of our community’s wide variety of outdoor recreation and green space opportunities. The event also provides an opportunity to acknowledge successes and explore additional opportunities, while improving San Antonio’s health and well-being through intentional inclusion, thoughtful discussion, and educational information.
By providing park users a platform to share their ideas and concerns, Outside for All will help the community at-large, as well as area governmental leaders, gain an understanding of public needs, in order to fully utilize resources for outdoor spaces, including diversity, walkability, security, transportation connectivity, and wellness.
This year’s event will feature:
Exhibitor displays from local area organizations that focus on or promote outdoor initiatives and activities
Adult and student panel discussions on park equity
Educational materials on the importance of parks and green spaces to our quality of life
An educational activity
A community service project opportunity
A survey will be offered to collect data to prioritize needs of our citizens by council district
*Per City of San Antonio guidelines, physical distancing and face masks are required
